HISTORY OF NORTHROP GRUMMAN CORP.

Northrop Grumman can trace its ancestry all the way back to the Grumman Corporation, which was established on Long Island, New York, in the early 1900s. When Jack Northrop first established the Northrop Corporation back in 1939, it was in California. Veritas Capital acquired Northrop’s government IT and mission support business in December 2020, and the deal was for three billion dollars in cash. On March 5th, 2021, Northrop Grumman was awarded the contract for the Mars Ascent Propulsion System for the Ascent Vehicle Mars Sample Return Mission.  As of 2011, the headquarters of Northrop Grumman Corporation is located in West Falls Church, Virginia (formerly Jefferson), which is an unincorporated community in Fairfax County, Virginia.

SEGMENTS OF NORTHROP GRUMMAN

Aeronautics Systems: Aeronautics Systems, with its headquarters in Redondo Beach, California, manufactures airplanes, spacecraft, high-energy laser systems, and microelectronics for the United States and other countries throughout the world. As a recognized foreign entity, Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems Integration International, Inc.. is subject to much of the same New York City Process Service rules and regulations as other entities actually incorporated in New York. New York’s branch of Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems Integration International, Inc. was established on October 7th, 1996. However, due to its incorporation, the organization is subject to California law, despite the fact that New York Process Service regulations still apply.

Due to the lack of a registered agent to receive New York City Process Service, New York City Process Service is nevertheless charged via the Secretary of State. Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems Integration International, Inc. used to have a registered agent, although it was removed. Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems Integration International, Inc. still retains a post office address, which is on file with the Department of State, and the Secretary of State will promptly ship one of these copies to them by certified mail with a return receipt requested. 

As an agent for New York City Process Service, The Corporation offers New York City Process Service to Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems Integration International, Inc. Additionally, Northrop Grumman Electronics Systems Integration International, Inc. will accept New York Process Service as levied upon the CEO of the company or an equivalent officer who has been authorized to accept the same.

Northrop Grumman Guidance And Electronics Company, Inc, notwithstanding its New York incorporation, is a foreign corporation subject to the laws of Delaware.  However, the entity was incorporated in New York in the county of Westchester. Northrop Grumman Guidance And Electronics Company, Inc. filed a registration application to the Department of State on September 11th, 1997. The firm was legally incorporated in Delaware on February 26th, 1963 as a foreign business entity. CT Corporation System in New York has served as the company’s registered agent for New York City Process Service since its incorporation in the county of Westchester. 

In any case, New York Process Service may deliver a summons and complaint to the CEO of the firm. The entity is still active in New York and is one of the oldest branches of Northrop Grumman. The next statement of the entity is only due on 28th February 2021. 

A foreign limited liability corporation, Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems LLC, is involved in real estate development. CT Corporation is the entity’s New York City Process Service, compliant registered agent. A foreign LLC must publish in newspapers a copy of the application for authorization or a notice outlining the application’s substance within 120 days after filing, according to Section 802 of the LLC Law.

From 2018 to 2019, NGIS (Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems) was a Northrop Grumman sector, termed formally as a business segment. As a consequence of the merging of Orbital Sciences Corporation and elements of Alliant Techsystems in 2015, it became Orbital ATK Inc. Northrop Grumman bought Orbital ATK in 2018. To serve clients all across the globe, Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems has worked both as a prime contractor and as a merchant supplier.

 A new Space Systems sector was created out of the merger of NGIS with other Northrop Grumman enterprises on January 1, 2020, when Northrop Grumman reorganized its divisions.

As a recognized foreign business corporation, Northrop Grumman International Trading, Inc. is subject to much of the same New York Process Service rules and regulations. New York Process Service sees Northrop Grumman International Trading, Inc was established on March 18th, 2013. However, due to its incorporation, the organization is subject to Delaware law, despite the fact that New York Process Service regulations still apply.

Due to the lack of a registered agent to receive New York City Process Service, New York City Process Service is nevertheless charged via the Secretary of State. Currently, the registered agent for process service is CT Corporation System.  Northrop Grumman International Trading, Inc post office address is on file with the Department of State, and the Secretary of State will promptly ship one of these copies to them by certified mail with a return receipt requested. As an agent for New York Process Service, CT Corporation System provides New York City Process Service to Northrop Grumman International Trading, Inc. The CEO of the business also has their address provided so process service can be levied upon the entity. 

To be qualified for the New York-based process, Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc. originally registered with the Department of State on January 14th, 1986. Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc. is an Oklahoma-based foreign company, making it subject to the laws of the state only post its registration. If the Department of State ever receives a process on behalf of the entity, it is their responsibility to send it to that entity.

CT Corporation Systems has been recognized as the registered agent for Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc. The Department of State Process Service will be sent to the registered agent on behalf of this company.

As long as designated officials are recognized who are competent to receive Process Service because they are ranked as highly in the company, DOS Process Service may be performed in New York State for this organization. Process service may also be issued upon the CEO or other high-ranking officer of Northrop Grumman Technical Services, Inc.
